The scenic route takes you through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and charming villages. Upon arrival in Lohajung, check in to your accommodation, meet your trekking team, and get a briefing about the trek ahead.
Start your trek with a moderate ascent from Lohajung through dense oak and rhododendron forests. The trail offers captivating views of the valley below and occasional snow-covered patches (in winter). After approximately 6–7 km of trekking, arrive at Bekaltal, a pristine high-altitude lake known for its brownish hue, surrounded by forested slopes. Set up camp near the lake and enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars.
Resume your trek, navigating through thick forests and meadows that open up to expansive views of the Himalayan ranges. After trekking for 7–8 km, you’ll reach Brahmatal, a serene lake nestled amidst snow-covered peaks. The lake holds mythological significance and offers a magical setting with its tranquil waters reflecting the surrounding landscape. Camp near the lake and enjoy a cozy evening.
Today is the highlight of your trek as you ascend to the Brahmatal Summit. The challenging trail rewards you with panoramic views of some of the most iconic Himalayan peaks, including Mt.
