Overview
The Dayara Bugyal Trek is a beautiful alpine meadow trek in Uttarakhand, ideal for beginners and families. Known for its vast green pastures, snow-covered trails in winter, and stunning views of Himalayan peaks, it’s a year-round trekking destination. The trail offers a perfect blend of forests, streams, and open landscapes.
Itinerary
The journey begins at 7:00 a.m. from Prince Chowk near Dehradun
Railway Station, with a 185 km road trip to Natin Village via
Chinyalisaur and Uttarkashi. En route, enjoy scenic views along
the Bhagirathi River. Meals during the ride can be purchased at
roadside inns.
On arrival at Natin, a quaint village 40 km from Uttarkashi and the
trek’s starting point, settle into a homestay. After a briefing session
with the trek leader and group, enjoy dinner and rest for the night.
After breakfast, begin a 4 km ascent to the Gui Campsite, an
easy-grade trek through scenic forest patches. Upon arrival, enjoy
a hot lunch at the campsite.
Spend the evening on an acclimatization walk in the surrounding
area, followed by refreshments and snacks. Conclude the day
with dinner and an overnight stay in tents at the campsite.
After breakfast, begin the trek to Dayara Bugyal, a moderate
ascent through oak and rhododendron forests with occasional
level stretches. Enjoy packed lunch and rest at the Dayara
Viewpoint, soaking in the stunning landscapes.
Later, hike back to Gui Campsite from Dayara Top. Upon arrival,
relax with evening refreshments and snacks, followed by dinner
and an overnight stay at the campsite.
After breakfast, descend 4 km back to Natin Village, retracing the
trail through the forested path. From Natin, embark on a 185 km
drive to Dehradun.
The journey is expected to conclude around 9:30 p.m., allowing
trekkers to plan onward travel accordingly

Inclusions
- Stay is included on all days of the trek (
- Raithal to Raithal ). You will be staying in
- tents on a tripal sharing basis.
- Transport charges from Rishikesh to
- Raithal and return.
- All meals from dinner at Raithal on Day 1 to
- tea and coffee or last day mornning tea
- are included.
- Meals are simple, nutritious and vegetarian.
- All the trek equipment will be included like
- a sleeping bag, kitchen & dining tent,
- utensils, mattress, tent, toilet tent, and
- crampon (if needed).
- First aid medical kits, oxygen cylinder and
- stretcher.
- All fuel charges, toll taxes and needed
- forest entry fees along with permits.
- Mountaineering qualified and professional
- trek leader, guide, cook and support staff.
